Alright kiddos, listen up! If you’re rockin’ grade 5 or 6, you’re all set for Under 12 (U12) football! It’s a 9v9 match on a slightly slimmer field but with all the gear you need to shine.
Remember, this is all about having a blast and honing those basic skills. We hit the field in both summer and fall, so get ready to score some touchdowns and make unforgettable memories!

U12 HEAD COACH: BRIAN WELCH
With 13 years of coaching experience, Brian’s journey began at just 14 years old when he first coached U8 football. Since then, he has built an impressive résumé, playing 18 seasons across high school, the MFL, and indoor football, while excelling at a variety of positions. This wealth of experience gives him a unique ability to connect with players and guide them through every stage of their development.
Brian’s infectious love for the game and relentless drive to see youth embrace football are at the core of his coaching philosophy. His energy inspires athletes, parents, and fellow coaches alike, fueling the Huskies’ mission to build a strong, inclusive football community. As the U12 team gears up for the upcoming spring season, Brian’s leadership promises excitement, growth, and a championship mindset.
