U16 Junior Varsity- Grades 9 and 10

Junior Varsity football (U16) represents the initial stage of competitive play, typically serving as a starting point for most players in grades 9 and 10 to learn the fundamentals of the sport.

While emphasizing the importance of core skills, this level also introduces more intricate plays and involves increased travel.

U16 Junior Varsity Head Coach :Mark Pierre Rizk

A dedicated leader with a lifelong commitment to football, Coach Rizk brings extensive experience as both a player and a coach, along with a proven track record of success.

His  football journey began at Michael Power High School, where he played for over five years and was selected to the All-Star team. He went on to compete at the rep level with the Mississauga Wolverines, further honing his skills and passion for the game.

Following his playing career, Coach Rizk  transitioned into coaching, applying the same intensity, discipline, and football IQ that defined his time on the field. He has coached with several respected organizations, including The MFL Kodiaks, The Etobicoke Eagles, the Mississauga Warriors, and the Mississauga Thundering Herd.

His Mississauga football roots run as deep as they come. All the while earning a strong reputation for player development, leadership, and team-building.

With multiple championships as both a player and a coach, He brings proven leadership, deep football knowledge, and an unwavering commitment to building a competitive, disciplined, and successful U16 football program.
